Well, after a little over a month of working everyday, non-stop on the bloody thing, my new website, the Photography of Jeffrey Paul Howard, is FINALLY complete, and as of today officially launched and live to the world wide web!
Am pleased with it. Still a work in progress, and things that will be added and updated along the way… like the section of the site that will be where I hope to sell some photo prints… that will come this Summer. But, first wanted to at least get the other business side of it up, and will hopefully provide me business, that will probably be (or at least hope!) be a lot more than I really think the whole print side will do, that with being able to be hired to do Portraiture work.
So, that will be what I am going to be working on next, some marketing to draw attention to me, and hopefully some business… and moolah. I already have the materials to mail out a something to promote a little special that I am thinking to offer each season – a 25% off the cost of hiring me, for the first five people who may take advantage of it. I got twenty postcards printed up to promote it and send… now just tailoring down the mailing list to send it off to hopefully get the most bang for the buck with.
Also, as I wrote in the previous entry, need to finally break the new printer out of it’s box, and get it all configured and myself familiarized with it, and set up with the paper and system that I will use. Since that will be a big part of either side of the business, in me providing a print package to my portraiture clients, as well as obviously the prints I will look to sell.
Okay, so well anyway… am so glad to have the tPo-JPH site all done and up live… now just a matter of making some business with it! And hopefully, not too far in the near future of me starting to!
